Q) Does SPOTNT fit on all tractors?

A) MOST, later model Eaton and Spicer Axle (hub) caps are flat and the tools powerful magnet, along the retention bands keep the tool secured on the wheel. HOWEVER, Rockwell Axle (hubs) caps are not flat and REQUIRES a SPOTNT locking clamp. See products page.

 

 

Q) Does SPOTNT work on Steer Wheels?

A) NO

 

 

Q) Does SPOTNT work on Super Single Wheels?

A) Under development. The tool does work on Super Single Wheels with a DIFFERENT POLISHING PAD ARM. HOWEVER, the valve stems protrude in such a manner that the foam polishing pads tear rapidly, making the replacement cost expensive. Also, we are concerned that this could damage the valve stem causing a potentially hazardous condition, both to the driver and motoring public.

 

This can be resolved if owner/operators of trucks with Super Single Wheels change to a low profile valve stem that is similar in position to a standard wheel. Please contact us if your interested in this procedure and we will provide you with the Super Single Arm.

 

 

Q) What size wheels does SPOTNT polish?

A) Both 22,5" and 24.5" wheels.

 

 

Q) What size Axles will SPOTNT fit on?

A) SPOTNT will fit on both 40.000 and 46.000 (LBS) Axles.

 

Q) My wheels are pitted and heavily oxidized, what is the best way to bring back a brilliant shine?

A) Step-1, Acid wash your alluminum wheels.

    Step-2, Install SPOTNT Tool, apply cutting polish, spin tool on wheel,continue to apply         cutting polish and a light mist of water spray. You will eventually cut down the pitting        and oxidation. Rinse thoroughly the SPOTNT buffing pads. Clean cutting polish off              wheel.  

    Step-3, Reinstall SPOTNT Tool, apply finishing polish, spin tool on wheel to desired       brillaint shine.
